The physiological and psychological effects of essential oils extracted from plants can be used to promote positive health and prevent disease. It is an effective treatment for stress related problems and a variety of chronic conditions.
The therapist chooses the right combination of oils for the individual according to client health and needs.
Aromatherapy may be combined with other treatments such as Hot Stone Massage, Lava Shell or Indian Head Massage, which double the effect of individual therapies.
When you are making an appointment for aromatherapy the therapist might ask you about three main health conditions you would like her to work on. If you are a healthy person, you can state a relaxation as the reason for the treatment. In some cases you might be offered more than one combination of essential oils to choose from, and can choose which you prefer.
